Um … not scary at all? Which I know sounds crazy, for the type of show this is supposed to be, but it’s absolutely amazing how interesting they keep things, without having to scare the kids! Is there a ton of violence in this series? How scary is the Secrets of Sulphur Springs series? Which, currently during a pandemic, where everyone is at home going crazy, I think that reminder is totally needed. But there is one, if we spin it a bit, and that’s that the kids are working together to help another kid out, and they also have stated quite a bit that the kids should “just be kids” and get to play. Since this isn’t a movie, and it’s a mystery series, there aren’t too many “positive messages”. I’ll have to update this review once we’re done, but so far Disney Channel is doing great! Are there any positive messages in this series? So far we’ve gotten to episode 5 and there’s nothing to worry about. Surprisingly, this one is great for all kids! I keep waiting for my 8 year old to jump out of her seat, but nope! (And she’s typically scared of everything!) Are there any inappropriate scenes or components for kids? (ex: language, songs, etc.) Yes! I was a little worried that this wouldn’t be as kid-friendly as some of the other Disney Channel series, just because it looked like a creepy, Nancy Drew mystery, but it’s great for kids! Is this series best for younger kids? Older kids? Secrets of Sulphur Springs is about a 12-year-old boy (Griffin) and a thrill-seeking classmate (Harper) who discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about a mystery involving a girl (Savannah) who disappeared decades ago from a Louisiana town. What is Secrets of Sulphur Springs about?
